We offer full service electric and acoustic guitar repair and restoration.
We also repair other stringed instruments such as bass guitars, dobros, banjos, mandolins, ukuleles, lap steels and more. We utilize accurate restoration techniques to preserve the original spirit and value of your precious instrument. As guitar makers, we have a deep insight into guitar repairs, subtleties of construction, stress, tension, finishes, glues, etc. Guitar restoration and repair work should be respectful and careful, never doing more than is needed.

The Guitar Doctor has been servicing guitars in Orange County for over 15 years.

Walking into the Guitar Doctors facility is a great experience for any musician.
The atmosphere is very mellow and unpretentious.

You will most likely see Doc Pittillo sitting at his bench sipping a starbucks coffee while working his magic on a guitar. The wall behind Doc is full of guitars that are repaired or in process and you immediately realize Docs' wealth of experience. Gibsons, Fenders, Ibanez, ESP, Epiphones, Electric, Acoustic, Basses , Mandolins, Dobros and guitars you have never seen before cover the walls.
Glass cases hold some of their custom hand made guitars and you are welcome to try them out too.

You will also see Pavel Maslowiec buzzing about working on several projects like a surgeon running five operating rooms at the same time, re-fretting one guitar, painting another hand carving an archtop while rewiring a bass. It’s amazing seeing the amount of work these guys do.
